WHO WE ARE
EDGE Actuarial Consulting originated in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. We have since opened an office in Pretoria that serves as our head office. We have offices in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal as well. We are also available to consult in the rest of South Africa and Africa.
Our team has over 30 years of combined experience in the damages field and have prepared in excess of 30,000 actuarial reports.
We have a Level 1 BEE status.

MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE CLAIMS
We provide reports in which the capitalized values of Future Medical Expenses are calculated.
ROAD ACCIDENT FUND CLAIMS
Reports regarding Loss of Earnings and Loss of Support calculations due to injuries sustained in road accidents.
OTHER THIRD PARTY CLAIMS
Personal Injury and Third-Party Liability claims, e.g. train accidents, wrongful arrests, dog bites, etc.
LIFE AND HEALTHCARE INSURANCE CONSULTING
We boast resources with experience in Africa business, specifically product development and pricing of risk products. We have a team with a complimentary skill set that covers both technical and leadership roles. This allows us to leverage our combined experience to ensure quality outcomes.
MAINTENANCE CLAIMS FOR DIVORCE OR DECEASED ESTATE MATTERS
We provide calculations for Maintenance Claims in Divorce matters or against Deceased Estates (e.g. regarding the Maintenance of Surviving Spouses Act 27 of 1990), as well as calculations regarding Accrual or Living Annuities.
